Our current Ph.D. student, Kyle Rafael Marcelino, presented his research at the Aquaculture 2025 Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, from March 6-10. He received the Aquatic Equipment and Design Student Travel Award, presented by the United States Aquaculture Society. As part of this prestigious recognition, he received a $1,500 cash award and a $295 student registration reimbursement. His research, titled "Improving Water Quality in Media-Based Aquaponic Systems with Nanobubble Technology Aeration," was presented in an oral session, showcasing his contributions to advancing aquaponics and soilless agrciultural practices.
